Café Gjendeosen 

The Café is beautifully located right next to the boat pier at Gjendeosen and by the foot of Besseggen. Here you can enjoy a proper meal either before or after your hike. It's also a nice stop if you are passing by with your car. It opens one hour before the first boat departs and closes one hour after the last boat returns.

Café Gjendeosen offers both warm and cold dishes. The menu includes lunch, dinner, fresh waffles and cinnamon buns - just to name a few. Since several of the dishes are made of ingredients from the region, the menu might vary throughout the season. 

Forgot to prep food for the hike? Here you can buy "Besseggen packed lunch" - a fresh meal with a variety of toppings, local food and fruit.
