Valdres is centrally located right in the middle of southern Norway with easy access from the Oslo region. There are also bus departures from Bergen, Lillehammer, Gjøvik and Gol.
If you are driving, the main roads to Valdres are the E16 from Oslo/Bergen, road 51 from Gol/Vågå (passing through the National Tourist Route Valdresflya, winter closed), Road 4/33 from Gjøvik and road 250/33 from Lillehammer.
