On the cycling round-trip Hølervassrunden the whole family can enjoy quiet forest roads with little traffic and easy, gently undulating terrain. There are two lovely swimming places along the route, so remember to bring swimwear and a towel.

Elevation gain: approx. 265 meters

Directions:
Exit the E16 in Bagn and follow the toll toll road towards Gol. The cycling tour starts at Ellingsæter, where there are parking possibilities. 

From Ellingsæter, cycle along Veståsvegen towards Hølervatnet. After approx. 2 km, before Skrikkarvollen, there’s a road crossing with a rest area with bench. Turn left here onto Bukfyllvegen and follow it to wards Bukfyll. There are 4 km of slightly downhill cycling, until you meet Sameigevegen. Make a right turn and follow Sameigevegen along the River Hølera to Lake Høleravatnet. This is the most beautiful part of the tour, so be sure to take your time for rests and a swim. Approx. half way along Lake Høleravatnet you will reach a crossing where there are signs a.o. towards Hedalen. Turn right here and follow Hølervassvegen to Skrikkarvollen and Veståsvegen back to Ellingsæter.
