Welcome at Liastølen in the centre of Beitostølen
Program June – July– August 2019

Saturdays and Sundays during the period 06. July-31. August, 12noon - 3pm (program starts at 12noon)

There will be different themes throughout the summer such as:
* Summer mountain farming and cheese making
* Traditional folk music and song
* Samples and sales of mountain farm produce 
* Fairytales and tales from Valdres
* About bumblebees and other pollinating insects
* Tar burning
* Mountain pioneers at Bygdin
* Old knitting techniques
* Decor in old buildings 
* Recommendable hikes in the surrounding mountain areas
* Transport into the mountains at wintertime
* Working with wood and carving
* Working with iron - blacksmith works
* Vet in the mountains

The presentations are held in Norwegian, but everyone is welcome!
