Many local chefs are conscious in the use of local produce, and create dishes with both traditional and modern techniques. There are fine dining restaurants, and restaurants in connection with a hotel or lodge who specialize in traditional home made cuisine.
There is also a wide range of other theme restaurants, cafés and cafeterias throughout the region.
If you wish to buy local food products to bring back home, many farms are open for visits and have their own stores. Many of the products can also be purchased in the nearest grocery store or supermarket.
