From Beitostølen, follow road 51 North for approx. 6.5 km towards Båtskaret. Small parking area on the right hand side by Båtskardstølane.

The route starts at the small red hut towards the right with a short ascend before the path levels out. Soon after, you will reach a crossing. The path to the right leads to a nice viewpoint at Heklefjell (a 10 minute walk). The path to Gravolskampen (signed Gravolen) continues straight ahead. The terrain is mostly flat but with a few small hills. If the weather is warm you can cool off in one of the many ponds along the way.

Tip: If you are looking for a longer route, we recommend starting at Garli (parking fee) and hiking via Grønekinnkampen to Gravolskampen and around Gravolstjernet back to Garli. This tour is roughly 11 kilometers long and takes about 3−4 hours.
