If you have time to spend a full day with us, and being outdoors in the Norwegian winter is not a problem for you, we reccomend you this full day tour at the doorsteps of the Jotunheimen National Park.
This tour will bring you closer to the dogs, and give you a better understanding of the world of dog mushing.
After meeting the dogs, we pack the equipment and prepare the teams for a full day in the outdoors. Depending on the weather- and snow conditions we will cover 20 to 40 km. As in any real adventure, the route will be dictated by the conditions of the day.
Half way through, we settle down and set day camp with open fire and reindeer skins. While the dogs gets a snack and take a nap in the snow, the guide will show you how to prepare a real wilderness lunch. This is the right time to ask our guide about anything you ever wondered about dog sledding, huskies and norwegian nature!
If you enjoy a true nature experience and you have a bit of adventure in your blood; Loke`s Day Out is the tour for you.
Loke and the rest of our friendly huskies will greet you in the dog yard.
See you here!
