About
At Tyinholmen we serve homemade food from the Norwegian mountains, based on ingredients from the region. Our specialty is the delicious trout from Lake Tyin. Reindeer from the local herd that grazes in the Tyin area during summer is another popular choice from our menu. Our daytime menu focuses on Norwegian traditional food such as "rømmegrøt", the famous sour cream porridge. The waffles at Tyinholmen have been awarded "the best in Norway" by the paper Dagbladet. From our dining room you can enjoy an exceptional view over Lake Tyin and the mountain peaks of the Koldedalen valley.
