A perfect trip to enjoy with the whole family or with your friends! During this trip we will be crossing a frozen lake and driving in an amazing winter landscape. You will have the chance of taking an active part on the whole process, from making ready your own dog team, to actually driving yourself!
The trip is around 16 kms long. Duration: 3 hours for the whole experience, depending on snow- and weather conditions as well as number of participants on the tour.
Sledge season is normally from medio november to medio may. Afterwards, we drive dogs on wheels!
You can combine the trip with a solid lunch/dinner in our traditional lavvo tent. Lots of lit candles makes the atmosphere magical! We gather around the fire and are served some norwegian specialities!
For those of you who like a genuine wilderness experience, we would like to recommend that you spend a night in "the Yukon House", inspired by the simple lodgings the North American Indians used on their long hunting expeditions. These lodgins have been modernized to live up to modern standards, but we have strived to make them authentic, warm and comfortable.
We can also offer a wooden tent, a "Lavvo camp".
